Victory to Lord Narasimha. Victory to the Lord with lotus like eyes. Victory to Murahara. Victory to Mukunda. Singing your glory eradicates our fears and sins.

Salutations to Lord Narayana who reclines on Adi Sesha. He is the embodiment of Vedas. He rescued us from ignorance. He bestowed us Vaishnava symbols conch and discus.

Fragrant flowers rained all over. The place was resounding with the beat of divine drums. Rich clothes and ornaments glittered like rich harvest. It is the holy wedding of Lord Srinivasa the lord of lords graced on Venkatadri hill.

Many baskets are filled with wedding gifts. Pious women showered auspicious yellow rice on the divine couple. Bridegroom Srinivasa showered auspicious rice on bride Alamelumanga.

Alamelumanga is the treasure on the hills of Venkatadri and Garudadri. She bestows prosperity like the celestial gem Chintamani.

Celestial milk-ocean is her birth-place. She is Padma who dwells on lotus. She is Lakshmi, very dear to Narasimha. She is the Supreme Mother of all 'lokas'. She is Indira.

She is Kamala the bestower of prosperity and Ramaa the mother of Manmadha. She is Haripriya who is always with Sri Hari. She is the embodiment of money and grain.

nichchalu tAvukonna nidhAnamu eepe ||
She is goddess Ramaa who established herself amidst us. She is Alamelumanga dear to all. She is the eternal treasure established on Venkatadri and Ahobalam.

Chant the name of Govinda again and again.

Oh people, dance in ecstasy reciting the names of Achyuta and Hari. Praise him as Purushottama the supreme being. Say that he is the Supreme Lord. Revel in joy praising him as embodiment of prosperity.

danDitO mAdhavuninE talacharE janulu ||
 Oh people, sing that he is benefactor of Pandavas. Praise him as the one who flies on Garutmanta. Request the king of seven hills only. Think of Madhava only always.

Oh people, know that the lord is consort of Lakshmi. See and enjoy splendor of eternal Ananta. Reach lord Venkatanadha. Why don't the people live piously?

 Clever Krishna is a known thief. (koogoogu is rhythmic word in folk songs) He hides from the searching looks of all.

 He stole the robes of bathing maids and sat on a tree by the side of pool. He enjoyed milk in the pots hung on sling. It is impossible to control this boy.

 When milk maids were selling milk their upper garments slipped. He is the thief that plundred milk from milk maids in many houses.

Aroma from boiling ghee is pleasant.The milkmaids are singing melodiously.

They praise him as the lotus-eyed blue boy. They are singing while milking cows and churning curds in pots.

nanda vrajamuna nalugaDa nAvula 
mandala pEyala manchi ravamula ||
The beautiful maids of Nandi village describe him as the bearer of Mandara mountain. They call him 'Madhava, Govinda'. There are cows around with their calves mooing sweetly.

ankula chEtanu alaru ravambula 
binkapu mATala brundAvanamuna ||
They praise him as Venkatapati the embodiment of Vedas. They address him as the consort of Lakshmi. They call him Padmanabha. Damsels kept their palms on cheeks and sang songs joyfully in Brundavana.
